Peacock Beach Hotel - Hambantota

Spent an amazing Xmas holiday at a lovely hotel by the beach. the location was perfect, with breathtaking views and crystal clear waters. the staff were welcoming and friendly, providing great service throughout our stay. the food was also delicious, with a variety of dishes offered catering to all tastes.

The hotel was somewhat outdated and in need of refurbishment. the rooms were old and the amenities were limited.

We appreciated the food and service and affordable prices. It is adjacent to the airport. Recommended base for city break in Hambantota...

You can't beat the location. The beach is extra ordinarily clean, uncluttered - something out of a travel guide wishing to tempt new tourists!

The hotel itself has seen better days and needs freshening up, especially outside, in terms of decor. The hotel food was expensive; hotel residents are more or less trapped in to using what they provide as there is only the Jade restaurant opposite the hotel's entrance, which is somewhat cheaper but limited in what it has to offer.

This place is conveniently located close to Bundala National Park, making it easy to visit for nature enthusiasts; it's also just a short walk to Jade Green Restaurant, offering a convenient dining option.

the staff where excellent and always at hand to help. the rooms were comfortable and always kept very clean. the swimming pools where a welcome addition. peacock beach offered a beautiful setting to travle from and if too tired, a beautiful setting to relax and unwind.

Shower was not so clean in corners Older hotel, partly renovated, old parts to be renewed, but have a certain "old" charm to it Staff gives the impression to be a bit uncomfortable serving us, though they shouldn't ! They try, but you see they try, it should be a more 'natural, informal' approach. Staff hasn't not always easy to address us in English

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was perfect, offering breathtaking views and easy access to nearby attractions. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, starting from the moment we made our reservation. Ms. Imasha and Ruwanthika were incredibly helpful and made sure all our needs were met. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Ansari Aroos and Poornima, who even surprised us with a refreshing welcome drink. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.
